How do I book an artisan on FIXEX?
Download the FIXEX app, choose the service you need, describe the problem and pick a time. You are matched with verified artisans near you, with ratings and prices shown before you book.
Are FIXEX artisans verified?
Yes. Every artisan submits a national ID and, where required, police clearance before they can accept work. Those documents are reviewed by the FIXEX team and are never shown to other users.
What areas does FIXEX cover?
FIXEX operates across Ghana, with the most artisans currently in Accra and Tema. Availability is shown in the app based on your location.
How much does it cost?
Prices are set by each artisan and shown before you book, so there is no haggling. Any additional work is quoted in the app and must be approved by you before it starts. Downloading and using the app is free.
How do I pay?
You pay in the app by card or mobile money once the job is complete, through a licensed payment partner. Card details are entered on the payment provider secure page and never reach FIXEX servers.
What if the work is not done properly?
Jobs booked and completed through FIXEX are covered by our dispute process. Report the problem in the app and our team reviews it, usually within 24 hours. Work arranged privately outside the app is not covered.
